Hey all. I’m Nolan. I’ve known Jazzy for a long time now. Like back in the Ubuntu Forums days.
Late hatching nonbinary egg. Cultivator of grievances. I do music (piano, experimental, drone). I write (poetry, much of which was published in a previous lifetime but I’m going back there). Parent of two. Spouse. I love old programming languages (BASIC, Pascal) and writing my own tools in those and Perl. Doing generative art with p5.js. Tinkerer. Living in the wild left.

It was a different world. No idea how the old crew came out of that ecosystem. Still think about those days trying to convert books to djvu with proper formatting. This place already feels comfy.

My fursona is a female alien tree-dwelling fox thing of the same name, which I have had for over 15 years now. Been a while since I used forums, mostly stick to Discord these days, but it's nice to be here!

Glad to see you found my invitation. It's been a while!
I've not used forums in a while either. I wanted to make a place where there was no pressure to post or respond and I feel like bbs / forums kinda hit the right spot with that. Just a chill place where people can discuss things as they like. I miss these niche little communities that were lost when social media behemoths took over everything.
