Just started Earthsea!

Post by Jazzy Vidalia »

Been meaning to read all of Ursula K. Le Guin's major works and just started on the Earthsea cycle a few days ago and honestly, this is the kind of book I could really get sucked into. I read some of her books as a kid but I don't remember much of the details so it's a bit like reading it all like the first time again! Already up to Chapter 4 of the first book "A Wizard of Earthsea."

I just don't want to put this book down! Le Guin's world-building is just incredible.

Okay, major update. Vacation. 7 days to myself. I am gonna try for a book a day.

Finishing things up. Honestly, I've been in a depressive funk over work, how things are happening with my back, etc. I hate it. However, I am gonna commit to finishing this book tomorrow. I am so excited to finally have some time to myself.

I've been doing some reading and I just have to say: Ged is like a mf-er arch-gigachad.

Also, the part where Serret

Spoiler

turns a man's bones into molten lead.

I was like tf did I just read? I wasn't expecting shit to hit that hard in this book.

Next 7 days are gonna be real.
